William J. Prosser

William J. Prosser, 81, of Manitowoc, passed away on January 19, 2026, at his residence.
William was born on February 13, 1944, to the late James and Agnes Prosser. William grew up in Green Bay and after graduating from Pre Montre High School, he enlisted in the US Air Force. He served 4 years and was honorably discharged in 1967. He married Margaret (Steeber) Prosser on August 21,1971 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church. William was most recently a member of Trinity Alliance Church. He enjoyed spending time with family, shooting pool, and playing Scrabble.
He is preceded in death by his parents, James and Agnes Prosser; wife Margaret Prosser; 3 brothers, John Prosser, Donald Prosser, James Prosser; and one sister Mary Prosser. Survivors include children, James Prosser (Krista Marie P Pfohl) and Barbara (Benjamin) Krizizke; brothers, David (Sharon) and Steve Prosser; four grandchildren, Kayla Krizizke, Malcolm Krizizke, Charlotte Prosser, and Gunter Krizizke; and many other friends and relatives.
Cremation has occurred at Harrigan Parkside Crematory Chapel. Relatives and friends are invited to greet the family at Harrigan Parkside Funeral Home, 628 N. Water St., Manitowoc, on Saturday, February 7, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. until the time of the Funeral Service at 11:00 a.m. A luncheon will follow at Harrigan Parkside Gathering Center, just to the south of the funeral home. Instead of flowers, a memorial donation to Saint Jude Children’s Research Hospital is appreciated.
