A Menasha man convicted on child porn charges has been sentenced.
57-year-old Todd Grimm was ordered to spend seven and a half years in a federal prison after he was found to be in possession of a large quantity of child sexual assault material.
The investigation into Grimm was opened in April of last year, after the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children tipped law enforcement off to his actions.
A search warrant was executed on his residence and electronic devices, which uncovered over 12,500 images and videos depicting children in sexual situations.
They were all found on a flash drive Grimm had hidden in his desk, along with stories he had written describing the drugging and sexual assault of young children.
Upon his release, Grimm will have to spend 15 years on extended supervision and be a part of the sex offender registry for life.
