Hungry for a win, the Manitowoc Lincoln boys basketball team welcomed Green Bay Southwest to the JFK Fieldhouse last night.
In a matchup between two sides riding losing streaks, the Ships came out victorious over the Trojans 65-38.
From start to finish, Lincoln was in firm control of the ball game.
After knocking down the first basket of the game thanks to Jack Bauer, the Ships would never relinquish the lead.
Some strong defense in the first half would have the Ships up 36-18 at the break.
Manitowoc Lincoln would pick up right where they left off to start half number two and would lead by as many as 30 in the second.
Six second-half triples would prove to be to much for the Trojans to overcome, giving them their first win in five games.
Bauer would lead the ships with 17 points while junior big man Colton Thorison added 12 of his own.
Following the win, the Ships now move to 8-11 on the year, 4-9 in the FRCC.
Up next for Lincoln will be another tough matchup on the road Friday night against the FRCC leaders, Notre Dame.
