A trial date has been set for the man charged with stealing six historical grave markers in Fox Crossing.
Court records show that 59-year-old Bradley W. Bloch was in court yesterday (February 2nd), where a plea hearing was set for April 1st.
If Bloch pleads not guilty, he will return to court on April 28th and 29th for a trial by jury, with Judge John Jorgensen presiding.
Bloch was last in court on December 19th for a plea hearing, where a plea of not guilty was entered on his behalf because he chose not to speak.
The crosses were stolen from St. Patrick’s Cemetery in May of last year, and Bloch was quickly arrested after he attempted to sell one of them on Facebook Marketplace.
While Bloch denied ever being near the cemetery, cell phone data places him near the cemetery at the time of the crime.
Several of the crosses had already been sold, but all six have since been recovered.
