Progress Lakeshore is accepting applications for an annual training program.
The Spring 2026 Entrepreneurial Training Program has sessions available from March 26th through May 21st, held on Thursday evenings from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m.
The business development court, offered in partnership with UW-Green Bay’s Small Business Development Center, aims to equip aspiring and current entrepreneurs with tools, strategies, and resources to build successful, sustainable, and profitable businesses.
Instructors and guest speakers will help clients learn about the foundations of effectively marketing their business while exploring funding options and how to secure capital.
Only 15 people may participate in the Progress Lakeshore program, which will be held at their office on North 8th Street in Manitowoc.
The Wisconsin Economic Development Corporation helped support the program by allowing some applicants for the Entrepreneurial Training Program to receive grants covering 75% of the $1,000 course fee, reducing the fee to just $250.
Some participants could also qualify for a $200 scholarship funded by UnitedOne Credit Union and the Progress Lakeshore Foundation.
