Two high school dance teams from Sheboygan are heading to state.
The Sheboygan Area School District has shared that both the Sheboygan North and Sheboygan South dance teams have qualified for the state competition in La Crosse.
This comes after both teams qualified at regionals, where North High’s team was also named Regional Champions in Division One Hip Hop.
Excited about the opportunity and the relationship between both schools’ dance teams, North’s varsity dance coach Danielle Callahan said, “The support and sportsmanship these teams give each other is something the community of Sheboygan should be so proud of!”
The Wisconsin varsity state dance competition will be held on Friday (February 6th) and Saturday (February 7th) at the La Crosse Center, beginning at approximately 1:30 p.m.
