The City of Two Rivers seeks residents’ input on how to proceed with the former Hamilton property.
The property along the East Twin River has been vacant for years, after serving as the home of Hamilton Manufacturing.
They have announced two community listening sessions to discuss next steps.
The City noted in the announcement, “The former Hamilton Industries site is one of the most important redevelopment opportunities Two Rivers will see in a generation. Because of its large size, central location, and important history, what happens on this property will shape downtown and surrounding neighborhoods for decades to come.”
Both sessions will be held in the Koska Room in the J.E. Hamilton Community House, with the first scheduled for 5:30 this Wednesday evening (February 4th).
The second will be on Saturday at 10:00 a.m.
The City of Two Rivers is encouraging residents to “give us anything you’ve ever thought might be a good fit for this property. No concepts are off the table at this stage.”
