An Oshkosh man accused of killing his boyfriend has been bound over for trial.
Willie C. Rollins was in front of Winnebago County Judge Brian Keberlein yesterday, where the court ruled that probable cause was found.
This means that unless he pleads guilty or no contest, Rollins will be going to trial on charges of 1st Degree Intentional Homicide and Possession of Methamphetamine for the January 5th incident.
On that date, Rollins entered the Oshkosh Police Department, handed over a handgun, and told police that he had killed his boyfriend.
He also told investigators exactly where they would find his body, which was the basement of Rollins’ home.
He reportedly told detectives that the two had gotten into an argument over the home internet, resulting in Rollins hitting the victim with a chair before firing two shots.
A baggie of meth was found in his wallet, which corroborated statements from the victim’s family that Rollins had past substance abuse issues and possible mental health issues.
Rollins is being held in the Winnebago County Jail on a $750,000 cash bond and is next due in court on March 5th for his arraignment.
