In an effort to strengthen alumni resources, Lakeland University has promoted one of its own into a leadership role.
Lakeland has shared that Sydney Pingitore, a 2022 graduate working for the university, has been elevated to serve as the new Director of Alumni Relations and Annual Giving.
In her new position, Pingitore will lead all the school’s strategy for all things alumni-related while also heading Lakeland’s annual charitable giving efforts.
However, with her leaving her current role, Lakeland is now looking to fill the vacant Assistant Director of Alumni Relations and Annual Giving role.
Alongside Pingitore’s transition, the university has announced that longtime Director of External Relations David Gallianetti will be moving into an alumni-focused role in July, where he will recruit alumni mentors, plan events for alumni, and keep Lakeland’s most recent grads engaged with their alma mater, amongst many other duties.
Lakeland University believes this shake-up will provide greater opportunities for graduates to stay in touch and engaged with one another and the school itself.
