The John Michael Kohler Arts Center is now accepting applications for one of its biggest events of the summer.
The Sheboygan organization is asking any artist wishing to be showcased during the 56th Annual Midsummer Festival of the Arts to apply anytime before March 2nd for a chance to be one of the 100 featured artists.
The Midsummer Festival of the Arts is a highly anticipated free community event that brings together thousands of attendees and artists each year.
The art on display covers a wide array of disciplines, including ceramics, painting, photography, metal, fiber, watercolor, wood, jewelry, and more.
In addition to the juried artists, the weekend-long festival includes live music and performances, exhibitions, hands-on artmaking, artist demonstrations, food, and family-friendly activities.
Acceptance notifications will be sent out on April 7th, ahead of the event.
Applications can be submitted at JMKAC.org, and any questions can be directed to MFA@JMKAC.org.
