Nominations are now open for the annual awards through Progress Lakeshore.
Businesses, organizations, and individuals can be nominated for the 15th Annual Excellence in Economic Development Awards, scheduled for later this year.
Progress Lakeshore Executive Director Jamie Zastrow explains that the awards provide an opportunity to highlight businesses and organizations driving economic growth, investing in their workforce, strengthening neighborhoods, and enhancing quality of life in Manitowoc County.
There are five awards up for grabs, including Entrepreneurial Achievement, Neighborhood Development, Corporate Investment, Community Enhancement, and Economic Accelerator of the Year.
Nominations must also highlight a project or activity completed in 2025.
The Governance Committee of Progress Lakeshore will select the winners, and award sponsors are not eligible to win an award in the category they are sponsoring. Nominations are due on March 10th.
