Last weekend, the JTF team from Treehouse Theater journeyed to Atlanta, Georgia, to take part in the Junior Theater Festival.
Among the 26 students on the team, 10 were from TRHS, with Mrs. Meulbroek serving as the music director.
The students joined a total of 7,175 attendees at the festival and showcased their rendition of Newsies JR. for professional adjudicators.
The local youth theater organization returned with an award for excellence in dance.
This was the organization’s 15th trip to Atlanta, which serves as the highlight of the year for those who have been with Treehouse Theater for multiple years.
