Those in the Sheboygan area now have more time to voice their opinion on who went above and beyond in the community.
The United Way of Sheboygan County has extended their deadline to make nominations for the 2026 Spirit Awards.
The original deadline for nominations was on January 23rd; however, the nonprofit has since pushed back the deadline to this Friday (January 30th).
The United Way has explained that this is an “opportunity to submit your nomination and lift up those in our community that work selflessly behind the scenes to make our local nonprofits great.”
A long list of awards are up for grabs, including Volunteer of the Year, Youth Star, Lifetime Achievement, and more.
The 2026 Spirit Awards will be held on April 30th at The Osthoff Resort in Elkhart Lake, where the winners of all awards will be announced.
