Madison residents gathered outside the State Capitol on Sunday to protest a recent fatal shooting involving a federal immigration officer.
The demonstration came a day after Alex Pretti was shot and killed by an ICE agent in Minneapolis.
Despite cold temperatures, hundreds of protesters showed up holding signs reading “Abolish ICE” and “Impeach Trump.”
Similar protests took place in other parts of Wisconsin and around the country.
Pretti, a VA nurse, was labeled a “domestic terrorist” by the federal government just minutes after his killing.
However, no evidence was or ever has been brought forward to support such claims.
