The Sheboygan Theatre Company (STC) has cleaned house in an awards program in our area.
STC has shared that the 2025 BroadwayWorld Appleton, WI Awards have been revealed, with the local theatre group being named the 2025 Favorite Local Theatre.
Their production of Alice by Heart was also honored with Tom Kamenick winning the Best Music Direction & Orchestra Performance award, while the Best Scenic Design of a Play or Musical Award went to Art Stewart and Lisa Stewart.
However, STC’s production of Young Frankenstein was the big winner, being named the 2025 Best Musical and Best Ensemble.
Other awards from their rendition of Young Frankenstein include Best Direction of a Musical for Larry Marcus, Jamel Booth being honored for Best Choreography of a Play or Musical, Best Lighting Design of a Play or Musical for Ally Swigert, and Lisa Koepsell winning Best Supporting Performer in a Musical.
Regarding these prestigious awards, STC stated, “These honors highlight the remarkable creativity, collaboration, and dedication that make our stage such a special place for artists and audiences alike.”
