A very good non-conference boys’ basketball game will be played tonight at Lancer Circle as 9 and 3 Manitowoc Lutheran, winners of seven straight, host 13 and 1 Bonduel.
The Lancers have relied on their defense during their seven-game winning streak, surrendering just under 47 points per game, while the visiting Bears look to rebound following their first loss of the year at Brillion last Tuesday night.
The game is scheduled to tip off at 7:15 p.m. tonight.
Elsewhere in boys’ basketball, The Reedsville Panthers, the top-ranked team in the MaxPreps Division Five Poll, host Central Wisconsin Christian of Waupun, Denmark hosts Clintonville, and Sturgeon Bay travels to Luxemburg-Casco to battle the Spartans.
There’s a good non-conference matchup in girls’ basketball as 12 and 5 Brillion visits 9 and 7 Mishicot.
The Lions come to town winners of three of their last four, while after a 2 and 6 start, the Indians have won 3 straight and 7 of their last eight games.
Other girls’ games have Roncalli hosting Cedar Grove/ Belgium.
