In the face of dangerously cold temperatures this weekend, Acuity has made a major donation.
Acuity Insurance has announced that they have donated $50,000 to the Sheboygan County Warming Center.
Furthering its charitable giving, Acuity has also pledged to match community donations made to the Warming Center in 2026 up to an additional $50,000, doubling the impact of their and residents’ donations.
With extreme gratitude, Liz Kroll, the Executive Director of the Warming Center, said, “This support from Acuity and their message to encourage further community support send a powerful message: no one should be left out in the cold. These funds will help ensure we can open our doors, staff our operations, and keep people safe when the weather becomes life-threatening.”
While Michael Pellegrino, Sargento COO and Chair of the Warming Center Board, added, “We currently serve 50 to 60 people each day, and there is always a desire to be able to assist more. Acuity’s compassion and support set an inspiring example, encouraging others in the community to join together in making a real difference and saving lives.”
