The Sheboygan Theatre Company (STC) is set to bring controlled chaos to the stage with their next production.
STC will present The Play That Goes Wrong seven times next month, with the first taking place on February 13th at 7:00 p.m.
Subsequent performances will follow on the 14th, 19th, 20th, and 21st at 7:00 p.m., while 2:00 p.m. productions will happen on the 15th and 21st.
The Play That Goes Wrong will offer pratfalls, missed cues, and unstoppable laughter for all in attendance.
On the performance, STC Executive Director Tricia Roberts says, “This production is pure joy, a love letter to every community theatre that’s ever had something go hilariously wrong on opening night. Audiences can expect nonstop laughter and the kind of contagious energy that reminds us why we love live performance.”
Under Director and Wisconsin native Ryan Chabach, the play will be part Monty Python, part Sherlock Holmes as the group tries their hand at a murder mystery.
Additionally, the 2:00 p.m. showing on February 21st will also be an American Sign Language interpreted performance, expanding accessibility to those who would like to attend.
