The Regional SkillsUSA Competition scheduled for today has been postponed.
Several local and area students were set to compete today in a variety of skills-based events at Fox Valley Technical College; however, due to the extreme cold temperatures in the forecast, the event has been called off.
It will be held on Friday, February 20th, still at FVTC on Bluemound Drive in Appleton.
Nine students from Mishicot High School are set to compete, along with numerous other students from Eastern Wisconsin.
Regional competitors will have an opportunity to advance and participate in the 53rd annual Wisconsin SkillsUSA State Leadership and Skills Conference (SLSC) in Madison.
