Bitterly cold weather is settling in across Wisconsin.
The National Weather Service has issued an Extreme Cold Warning for the entire state starting at midnight.
Temperatures overnight will plunge well below zero, with tomorrow’s high expected to reach just negative six.
Wind chills could drop to minus 40 degrees, creating dangerous conditions where frostbite may occur on exposed skin in as little as ten minutes.
The warning follows earlier Winter Weather Advisories issued for parts of the state.
