A Kaukauna man accused of killing his father has returned to court.
Court records show that 56-year-old Gregory Juedes was inside an Outagamie County courtroom yesterday (January 21st) for a pre-trial conference.
Juedes has been charged with First-Degree Intentional Homicide, Fleeing or Eluding an Officer, and Obstructing after his father, 74-year-old Daniel Juedes Sr., was shot and killed in Appleton in November of 2024.
At yesterday’s hearing, Judge Mitchell Metropulos scheduled the 56-year-old for a two-day jury trial on March 24th and 25th.
On the night of Daniel’s murder, Appleton police were called to the 1800 block of South Sanders Street on reports of a disturbance with a weapon.
When arriving on the scene, officers observed Gregory fleeing the residence while Daniel was found with multiple gunshot wounds.
First responders would attempt life-saving measures; however, Daniel was later pronounced dead at the scene.
Other officers pursued Gregory as he fled, and he would later be arrested and charged.
If found guilty of First-Degree Intentional Homicide, Gregory would be sentenced to life in prison.
