Motorists in Northeastern Wisconsin are again feeling a bit of a reprieve at the pump.
Over the past week, Manitowoc County’s average price per gallon of regular unleaded fuel has dropped two cents to $2.47, according to the AAA Gas Prices website.
In step with Manitowoc County, Sheboygan and Door Counties saw two-cent dips over the past week, sitting at $2.44 and $2.51, respectively.
Despite the decrease, Door County still has the most expensive fuel in our area, followed by Calumet County at $2.50.
Outagamie and Brown County drivers are paying $2.43 at the pump this week, with Brown County’s nine-cent decrease marking the biggest change in prices in Northeastern Wisconsin, while Kewaunee sits at $2.47, a six-cent decrease in the past week.
State and national averages followed a similar trend, with Wisconsin’s average falling four cents to $2.47 while the national average dropped a penny to $2.83.
