An annual fundraiser supporting feeding elderly individuals in Sheboygan County is now underway.
Fresh Meals on Wheels of Sheboygan County has shared that they have begun their Soup on Wheels fundraiser.
Soup on Wheels offers soup packages for $45, with all proceeds helping fund Meals on Wheels and their weekly meal plans.
Each of the $45 soup packages includes one quart of soup, a salad for two individuals, dinner rolls, as well as desserts.
This year, the variety of soups being offered has expanded, featuring delicious options such as chicken dumpling prepared by Meals on Wheels themselves, turkey mushroom chowder made by the John Michael Kohler Arts Center Café, creamy roasted garlic prepared by The American Club, and many more made by organizations throughout the county.
Anyone interested in ordering soup through the fundraiser is asked to place orders online by February 19th, while they will be available for pickup on February 19th.
