An Eau Claire man is accused of making violent threats against local judges and the city’s police chief.
Authorities say 52-year-old Billy Curran contacted the Department of Homeland Security on Saturday.
During the call, it’s alleged he accused two judges and Police Chief Matt Rokus of corruption.
He allegedly threatened to shoot them if they were not arrested.
Curran was later taken into custody.
The 52-year-old now faces charges that include threatening bodily harm to a judge and a law enforcement officer.
