A well-known person in the Manitowoc community has stepped into a leadership role with the Woodland Dunes Nature Center and Preserve.
The nature preserve tells SeehaferNews.com that they have appointed Jason Prigge to serve as their new Development Director, effective immediately.
Prigge, a longtime Manitowoc resident, will bring his strong background in storytelling, community engagement, and mission-driven leadership to build authentic connections and communicate ideas in accessible and authentic ways.
Sue Crowley, the Executive Director of Woodland Dunes, is excited for Prigge to join the team, stating, “He understands that protecting land is about more than conservation, it’s about people, relationships, and ensuring future generations have access to wild, quiet places that nourish both body and spirit.”
In his new role, Prigge will lead fundraising strategy, donor engagement, and long-term development initiatives for Woodland Dunes.
In closing, Crowley added, “We are fortunate to have someone who cares deeply about Manitowoc County and believes, as we do, that protecting nature is an investment in the health and resilience of our community.”
