The Lester Public Library in Two Rivers is going through a change this year.
Longtime Director Jeff Dawson will be retiring at the beginning of July after serving the library for 19 years, guiding it through nearly two decades of growth, innovation, and community engagement.
The Lester Public Library Board unanimously appointed Youth Services Coordinator Terry Ehle to serve as the library’s next director starting on July 6th.
Ehle has served the library for 27 years and has spent the past year working with Dawson as part of a succession plan.
Two Rivers City Manager Kyle Kordell thanked Dawson for his years of leadership, saying the library has become “stronger, more innovative, and deeply connected to the community it serves. I want to thank Jeff for his dedication and congratulate Terry as she steps into this well-deserved role.”
