Two organizations in Sheboygan are partnering to offer more playful opportunities to children.
Above and Beyond Children’s Museum and Acuity have joined forces to offer 12 Free Days of Play in 2026.
Thanks to a generous sponsor from Acuity, the children’s museum will be open for 12 select days during the year, offering free admission for all those who stop in.
Each of the 12 days will offer an interactive craft opportunity led by museum educators in the Wonder Workshop, where those in attendance will create heart-themed projects in celebration of Acuity’s logo.
On this partnership, Cate Tinker, Above and Beyond Executive Director, said, “It makes our hearts happy to know that the museum can offer open, free access to families monthly in this coming year. With Acuity’s support, the museum can continue to reach and connect with families with financial barriers and be a community hub for ALL.”
Over the past 12 months, the children’s museum has launched 12 new exhibits and features, to which Board President Brian O’Laughlin said, “We welcome those that haven’t been to the museum recently to stroll through the museum’s colorful spaces following what is quite likely the museum’s most transformative year in its 30+ year history.”
The first of the 12 Free Days of Play will take place on Wednesday (January 21st).
