More than ten years after the death of a West Allis teenager, two men have been formally charged.
Jesse Cole of Waukesha and Robert Beringer of Menomonee Falls are now facing felony murder charges in connection with the 2012 death of Corey Stingley.
Investigators say Stingley was restrained by Cole, Beringer, and another man during a suspected shoplifting incident involving merchandise worth about six dollars.
Stingley died two weeks later, and the medical examiner determined his death was a homicide.
The third individual involved in the incident passed away three years ago.
