The Manitowoc Menards has begun a major food collection drive.
The public is encouraged to drop off donations of non-perishable food items at the store located at 5120 Calumet Avenue for the next couple of months to help local families and individuals in need.
The collection box can be found near the exit doors.
In its announcement, the company noted, “We’re excited to participate in this wonderful opportunity while lending a helping hand to the community during the next three months. Menards offers a wide variety of non-perishable food items that can be donated to the food pantries, from boxes of cereal to cans of soup that can be found in our grocery department for immediate donation.”
The Menards Food Drive will run through March 31st.
