An Outagamie County judge has modified the bond for a woman charged with running over the legs of an Appleton Police Officer.
Court records from CCAP show that Judge Emily Lonergan lowered the cash bail for 21-year-old Katrina Kitzman from $50,000 to $10,000 after Kitzman requested a bond review.
Lonergan still set the same stipulations for the 21-year-old if she has enough money to get out of jail, including that she must maintain absolute sobriety, cannot operate a motor vehicle, and cannot possess dangerous weapons or firearms.
Kitzman will return to court on February 9th for an arraignment hearing. Appleton Police were called to the area of South Walnut and West Lawrence Streets back on November 15th and made contact with the 21-year-old.
However, she would drive toward officers, striking one of them, and running over the officer’s leg.
Kitzman faces charges of 1st-degree recklessly endangering safety, battery to an officer, fleeing and eluding, hit and run involving injury, resisting or obstructing an officer, and other charges.
