There are two Manitowoc companies among the list of finalists for a prestigious award.
Over 40 Wisconsin manufacturers have been selected as finalists for the 37th Annual Manufacturer of the Year (MOTY) Awards, including Eck Industries and Redline Plastics in Manitowoc.
In fact, Eastern Wisconsin is well represented, with five other area companies making the cut.
This includes Robinson Inc. out of De Pere, which also has a plant in Manitowoc, and the Lawton Standard Company, also out of De Pere.
The Fox Valley is represented by Bassett Inc. in Kaukauna, Oshkosh’s Blended Waxes Inc., and M2S Group (Material and Science Solutions) out of Appleton.
The Manufacturer of the Year aims to highlight manufacturing as the state’s top industry, employing 1 in 6 Wisconsin workers and generating $73.7 billion in economic output each year.
Four Grand Award winners will be recognized for their impeccable performance across all benchmarks during the black tie event on February 19th at the Pfister Hotel in Milwaukee.
