A Milwaukee man is heading behind bars for a shooting that injured two police officers.
Court records show Harrel Martin was sentenced to 42 years in prison for the 2024 shooting on the city’s northwest side.
The 27-year-old was involved in a standoff with police, where four children were inside a home with Martin.
Police say Martin opened fire on officers responding to the scene and hit two of them.
He was convicted of ten felony counts in November, including intentional homicide and recklessly endangering safety.
