A local couple is retelling the story of a near-fatal motorcycle accident in a new book.
The book about Jason and Tina Prigge will be published by Fresh Water Press and tell the story of love and loss, and of the incredible Manitowoc community that rallied around them.
The co-written memoir will detail the tragic experience of the accident, the aftermath, and who they were before.
The book will also be filled with anecdotes, musings, and even a few poems.
Members of Fresh Water Press explained that they fell in love with the Prigges’ book proposal after reading a sample, saying, “We were enthralled in suspense with a hopeful heart for this incredible couple who defied the odds.”
They finish by saying readers will be drawn into the story as Tina and Jason show their appreciation for the Lakeshore community they call home, which aligns perfectly with the publisher’s commitment to celebrating this area of the state through local literature.
The book’s title or release date was not announced.
The Prigges are co-founders of the Coolest Coast and owners of Vagabond Creative Studio.
They also host WOMT’s After Further Review, which airs every Thursday at 8:30 a.m.
