There are two Manitowoc County governmental meetings scheduled for today (January 7th).
Up first is the Criminal Justice Coordinating Council, which will be in the Communications and Technology Building at 4:45 p.m.
After giving the public time to comment, the group will nominate and elect the 2026 slate of executive officers and two at-large executive committee members.
The Council will also nominate and select a citizen member before reviewing access to courts, the Manitowoc Youth Intervention Network, and public education.
Then, at 7:00 p.m., the Expo and Ice Center Board will convene in the Expo Office, where they will also elect the 2026 slate of officers.
The group will then get the latest on planning for the 2026 Manitowoc County Fair, including getting updates from subcommittees and working groups.
