ClearSky Rehabilitation Hospital Lakeshore in Cleveland has a new medical director.
Dr. Lori Brooks will oversee the hospital’s interdisciplinary healthcare team, managing services including physical, occupational, and speech therapy, case management, specialized rehabilitation programs, and other services.
Brooks brings more than 30 years of experience, having served in medical leadership roles in rehabilitation and acute care hospitals throughout Wisconsin.
Prior to joining ClearSky Lakeshore, she was the medical director of a medical center specializing in wound, vascular, and regenerative services.
After getting her new job, Brooks said she’s “honored to work with the hospital’s healthcare team to provide the community with a higher level of specialized rehabilitation. Our goal is to work with patients and their families to maximize their outcomes so they (the patients) can regain independence and quality of life.”
ClearSky Lakeshore opened its 36-bed medical hospital last year in the Village of Cleveland, which provides specialized rehabilitative care for those dealing with disabling injuries or illness, including strokes, brain injuries, Parkinson’s disease, and others.
