The Sheboygan County Economic Development Corporation (SCEDC) has made a leadership change.
The organization has announced that they have named TJ Crowns as their new Director of Economic Development.
Crowns steps into this new position with previous experience in the technology sales sector before joining the SCEDC early last year in a finance role.
In this new role, Crowns will focus on supporting business retention and expansion efforts while working with local communities to advance projects in the county.
The hope with this is to promote long-term economic growth throughout Sheboygan County.
On taking this new position, Crowns, a Sheboygan native, said, “Having grown up in Sheboygan, this role is especially meaningful to me. I’m extremely excited and passionate about continuing the economic growth of Sheboygan County and supporting the businesses and communities that make it such a great place to live and work.”
SCEDC Chairperson Don Hammond is also looking forward to the organization’s future with Crowns, stating, “His commitment to our mission and Sheboygan County will strengthen our communities by driving sustainable economic growth and advancing economic development opportunities.”
