An annual fundraiser for the visually impaired returns in February.
The Manitowoc/Two Rivers Lions Club’s 11th annual Bowling Blind Fundraiser takes place at Meadow Lanes North in Manitowoc on Sunday, February 1st, from 12:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.
Twenty-four teams will be organized and bowl with vision-impaired goggles simulating various eye diseases.
The purpose is to raise participants’ awareness of the difficulties faced by the blind and visually impaired every day.
Bowling Blind also includes various raffles, a DJ playing music and making announcements, door prizes, and a silent auction.
Funds raised will benefit service projects sponsored by the Manitowoc/Two Rivers Lions Club, including the Miracle League of the Lakeshore, St. Vincent de Paul’s Food Pantry, Gumby’s Club Fore a Cure, and Hope House, among others.
