A Florida man was arrested in Kaukauna on New Year’s Day.
The Kaukauna Police Department reports that officers were called to the 700 block of Desnoyer Street just before 1:00 a.m. on a weapons complaint.
An investigation revealed a 38-year-old Floridian man had discharged a firearm, but no details were released regarding what led up to that incident.
No one was injured. The man was arrested on charges of First Degree Recklessly Endangering Safety, Felon in Possession of a Firearm, Possession of a Firearm While Intoxicated, and Disorderly Conduct.
The investigation into the incident is ongoing, and no additional information is being released at this time.
