A Two Rivers man free on nearly $98,000 bail has been arrested once again.
Manitowoc Police were called to Pet Supplies Plus on Calumet Avenue at 3:30 Wednesday on a report of a disturbance.
A worker at the store explained that 26-year-old Trenten Ploederl had previously dated a separate worker and would follow her around the store.
He claimed to be keeping her safe at work and previously filed numerous complaints claiming the workers were harassing him.
Ploederl was later located at his ex’s residence, where he was served with a trespassing citation.
However, two hours later, officers were again called to the store for a verbal altercation between Ploederl and workers at the store.
Police again located Ploederl at his ex’s residence, where he was told he was being placed under arrest.
However, Ploederl claimed to have done nothing wrong and locked police out of the home.
Numerous officers were called to assist, including K9 Rocky, but Ploederl continued to refuse to exit.
Police made entrance thanks to a key provided by a resident, and he was found hiding in a kitchen cabinet.
He was arrested on 26 counts of Felony Bail Jumping, as well as charges of Disorderly Conduct and Resisting an Officer.
Ploederl was reported to be out on $18,000 cash bail and nearly $80,000 in recognizance bonds.
During his bail hearing on Friday, Ploederl was given a $1,000 cash bail by Court Commissioner Patricia Koppa and was ordered to have no abusive or assaultive contact with the victim and no contact with Pet Supplies Plus.
He is due back in court on Monday (January 5th) for an initial appearance in Branch 3.
