Entering the new year, an educational group in Sheboygan has its eyes set on summer fun.
Books on Bikes Sheboygan has released its summer schedule of locations and dates when they will be out in the community, promoting childhood literacy and spreading the joy of reading.
Books on Bikes has said that their goal as an organization is to get children excited about reading by giving them books of their own.
The first event of the summer will take place on June 17th, starting at End Park before moving to Vollrath Park.
In total, there will be six dates this summer, with three taking place at Vollrath Park, two at End, King, and Roosevelt Parks, and one at Shaw Park.
Books on Bikes has changed things up this year to make their services more accessible for everyone in the community, noting, “To better support working families, we’ve adjusted our schedule this year to include two evening meet-ups—a small change we hope makes it easier for everyone to join us.”
2026 also marks the 10th anniversary of Books on Bikes in Sheboygan, which has grown and promoted childhood literacy for a decade.
