The victim in a Calumet County shooting on Christmas Day has been identified.
The Calumet County Sheriff’s Office has confirmed that 25-year-old Hailey Couillard was shot in the head at the Hilbert Acres Mobile Home Community at around 9:00 Christmas evening.
She was taken to a local hospital with life-threatening injuries and had been on life support since the shooting.
The Sheriff’s Office has also confirmed that she has since passed away.
No one has been arrested in connection with the shooting, but an unidentified man was interviewed at the time.
He is said to be cooperating with authorities.
