New Year’s Day is affecting some city services in Manitowoc and Two Rivers.
The City of Manitowoc announced that City Hall will be closed today (December 31st) and tomorrow (January 1st) for the holiday.
That means anyone who needs to do business at City Hall will have to wait until Friday.
Hours are shorter on Fridays, as City Hall will be open only from 7:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.
Trash service in the City of Two Rivers will also be affected.
The city announced that anyone who puts out their garbage on Thursday won’t have it picked up until Friday.
Friday service will remain normal for residents.
