A vacant home in Two Rivers caught fire yesterday afternoon (December 29th).
The Two Rivers Fire Department was called to the 1000 block of 18th Street just before 1:00 p.m., where crews found smoke coming from the eaves of the one-story structure.
The blaze was brought under control within a short time period.
There were no injuries reported, and since the home was vacant, no one has been displaced. The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
Two Rivers Assistant Fire Chief Chad Kakes thanked the fire crews from the Town of Two Rivers, Manitowoc, Mishicot, and Two Creeks, as well as Mishicot Ambulance and Two Rivers Police Department, for their timely response to assist.
