Bonnie C. Stehula, age 85 of Manitowoc, passed away on Thursday, December 25, 2025 at Complete Care Manitowoc.
Bonnie was born on February 21, 1940 in Bolt, WI, daughter of the late Joseph and Alvina (Tissler) Duckart. She attended schools in Manitowoc and graduated with the class of 1958 from Lincoln High School. On September 27, 1958, Bonnie married Roger Stehula at St. Andrews Catholic Church, Manitowoc. He preceded her in death September 14, 1999. Bonnie was employed at the Cawley Company for many years until her retirement. She enjoyed playing cards with her card club for 50 years. She also enjoyed spending time with her family and going on trips to the casino.
Bonnie is survived by her six children: Wendy (Bill) Shimek, Cindy (Mike) Cerny, Vicky (Tony) Shimek, Randy (Diane) Stehula, Jacqueline (Greg) Braunel, Stephanie (Andy) Zigmunt; thirteen grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; one special friend and brother-in-law: Eugene Miller. She was preceded in death by her parents: Joseph and Alvina Duckart; her husband: Roger Stehula; three sisters: Vivian (Herman) Sprang, Charlotte (Myron) Anderson, Kay Miller; one sister-in-law: Lois (Elmer) Kelley.
A celebration of Bonnie’s life will be held at 12:00 Noon on Friday, January 2, 2026 at Pfeffer Funeral Home, 928 South 14th Street, Manitowoc. Deacon Paul Gleichner will officiate. Relatives and friends may call at the funeral home from 9:00am until the time of service at noon. Burial will take place at Evergreen Cemetery.
