Milwaukee police say a pedestrian is dead after being hit by a vehicle.
Police say Robin Dieringer was hit Friday near 41st and Townsend on Milwaukee’s northwest side.
The 48-year-old mother of four was sent to a hospital with life-threatening injuries, where she later died.
The driver of the vehicle has been taken into custody.
Officials believe he was impaired.
