The Sheboygan County Food Bank is looking to expand its reach in the community.
The Food Bank, in partnership with Feeding America Eastern Wisconsin, is looking to fill the position of FoodShare Outreach Specialist, a new role introduced in Sheboygan County.
The person selected to fill the role will “help educate the community about FoodShare (SNAP) benefits and support Sheboygan County individuals and families through the application process.”
They will also look to build partnerships with local organizations, give those in need of help one-on-one assistance, and aid in getting more people access to the food support they need as food insecurity continues to rise in Sheboygan County and across the country.
Anyone interested in educating and helping out those in Sheboygan County in relation to federally funded FoodShare benefits can find more information on the Food Bank’s FoodShare Outreach Specialist by visiting the Sheboygan County Food Bank Facebook page.
