Three 14-year-olds from Madison are facing charges after an alleged retail theft at a Bass Pro Shops in Sun Prairie on Christmas Eve.
Sun Prairie police say officers responded to a report of a theft in progress.
Store employees reported that multiple individuals took ammo and pistol magazines without paying, and officers spotted the suspects leaving the store, leading to a foot chase.
Two of the juveniles were quickly taken into custody, while the third initially got away.
He was later located on a Madison Metro bus.
All three were arrested without incident or injury, and charges are being referred to the Dane County District Attorney’s Office.
