A manufacturer in Sheboygan Falls announced that one of its products has been certified for the use of recyclable materials.
The Sheboygan County Economic Development Corporation says that Bemis Manufacturing has received Green Circle Certification for its molded wood toilet seat, as 100 percent of the wood it uses comes from recycled pre-consumer wood waste.
Bemis explains that by weight, “the finished product contains a minimum 71% recycled content in toilet seats with plastic hinges and a minimum 66% recycled content in toilet seats with metal hinges.”
For the company, that means they are working on eco-conscious manufacturing practices and continuing their mission to innovate responsibility.
Green Circle Certified is an organization based in Pennsylvania that allows groups to obtain certification demonstrating a company’s commitment to sustainability.
