
An individual has died following a crash near Oshkosh.
The Winnebago County Sheriff’s Office was called to the area of State Highway 26 and Cottonwood Avenue, roughly five miles south of Oshkosh, at 1:00 Monday afternoon on a report of a two-vehicle crash.
Upon arrival, they located a passenger van, operated by a 79-year-old Oshkosh man, and a pickup truck, being driven by a 19-year-old Oshkosh man, that had collided.
The elder driver died from his injuries at the scene, while the 19-year-old man was uninjured.
The full details of the crash have not been released as the situation is still under investigation at last word.
