Dianne A. Ploederl, age 77 of Manitowoc, passed away on Tuesday, December 16, 2025 at Harborview Assisted Living, surrounded by her loving family.
Dianne was born on March 24, 1948, in Manitowoc, a daughter of the late Edward and Arpa (Wojahn) Hudon. She grew up in Manitowoc and was a 1966 graduate of Lincoln High School. She also attended LTC and University of Wisconsin Green Bay. On May 2, 1970, Dianne was married to Gary G. Ploederl at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Manitowoc.
Dianne began her employment with Kelvinator Mfg. of Manitowoc. She was then employed with the Manitowoc Company as their Corporate Traffic Manager for 10 years. Dianne retired from WI Nationwide as the CFO and Vice President-Secretary/Treasurer after 26 years of employment. In the past, Dianne was active with the Lakeshore Traffic Club, DNA-Transportation Frty. She was current member of Bethany Ev. Lutheran Church.
Survivors include her husband: Gary “Gabes” Ploederl; two nieces: Cristin (Richie) Ash and their children Thor, Finley, Archer, Ellington, Drake Ash; Stephanie Korte and her children Blake and Addison Korte; three nephews: Jack “JJ” (Christina) Ploederl and their children JorJa Ploederl (John Hutterer) and Braden Ploederl; Jeff (Amanda) Ploederl and their children Jaiden and Brianna Ploederl; Brian Ploederl (Maria Rios) and their children Jordan Ploederl and Teha Nguyen; one brother-in-law: Jake Ploederl; one sister-in-law: Jennifer Hudon; other relatives and many friends also survive. She was preceded in death by her parents: Edward and Arpa Hudon; her brother: Thomas Hudon; her sister-in-law: Diane Ploederl; father-in-law and mother-in-law: George and Marilyn Ploederl.
A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, December 26, 2025 at Bethany Ev. Lutheran Church, 3209 Meadow Lane, Manitowoc. The Rev’s. Stephen Melso and Caleb Davisson will officiate with burial of her cremated remains at the Evergreen Cemetery at a later date. Relatives and friends may call at the church on Friday from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m.
In lieu of flowers a memorial fund has been established in Dianne’s name for the Sharon S. Richardson Hospice, Harbor View Assisted Living or Bethany Ev. Lutheran Church.
